Leader of the Labour party Ed Miliband has today endorsed the Save EMA campaign and expressed why he believes the Education Maintenance Allowance is so important that “I congratulate the Save EMA campaign on the work they are doing and I urge you to support them”.

Labour Mayoral Candidate Ken Livingstone has today endorsed the Save EMA campaign and criticised the Coalition Government saying that the abolition of Education Maintenance Allowance means that “ there is going to be a lot of casualties out of this who will never escape poverty as a result of this cut”.
